Kids That Care

Kids that Care is an 8 week program geared to children and youth from the ages of 10 to 13. The goal of the program is to get kids involved with their community doing a variety of exciting activities, games, and volunteer work. They will learn valuable skills such as: work place safety, diversity, leadership while growing and building strength as an individual.

Cost: FREE

Great Kids Growing

Great Kids Growing is a new program which allows children and youth the opportunity to grow fresh vegtables and fruit in our community garden. We began this program in April 2010, and have carried it over to the summer months. The program now runs every Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 - 3:30 pm. Food grown in the garden will be available to the community through our emergency food cupboard at the centre.

Cost: Free.

This program starts July 6th , 2010 and it ends August 25th 2010

New Day, Creative Play Breakfast & Fun

New Day, Creative Play Breakfast and Fun runs every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Feel free to join us for a nutrious breakfast from 9:30 - 10:30 am and participate in games, crafts and activities from 10:30 to 11:30.

Games & Activities for ALL AGES!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! DROP IN PROGRAM! NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

COST: $0.50 a person $ 2.00 a family OR volunteer your time with set up and clean up.

Busy Buddies Backyard Summer Drop In Program

This summer program will provide children the opportunity to participate in fun, recreational activities and games that encourage cooperation and building positive relationships. It runs from Mondays to Thursdays throughout the summer months, but takes place at different locations. To see when and where busy buddies will be please see the available schedule below:

My Own Space

This program is for 10-13 years of age. During this program children are provided with a supervised place to hang out with friends, play games, creat art projects, and complete homework. Kids will be provided with all the materials to make thier own space and learn variouse skill at the same time.

BOREDOM BUSTERS
